Sep 4/6: Prodigal Sun
For the remainder of 2026, we are continuing to celebrate America’s 250th, and what better way than through the Americana-infused sounds of Invoke! After a prodigal season away from Beerthoven, Invoke has returned with a feast of great music from their classical/minimalist/bluegrass/folk originals to the world premiere of Ignacio Rosado’s work Umbrascopes, inspired by the events of the 1878 total eclipse in the heart of Texas.
Nov 13/15: Orange, White, and Blue
This piano quartet concert featuring Beerthoven all-stars Sohee Kwon on piano, cellist Daniel Kopp, violist Luis Bellorin and newcomer violinist Ben Kronk will pull together old and new threads of American classical music, from its early inspirations in the works of Dvorak and Brahms to the contemporary work Thousandth Orange by Caroline Shaw. The program will also feature the world premiere of a work by Karl Mitze (violist and composer for Invoke).
Dec 20/23: Hoppy Holidays
Beerthoven’s annual tradition with Tinsel Singers is back this year with a twist—an entirely new songbook! Come and enjoy hot cocoa, cold beer, and warm pastries on the front lawn of the Neill-Cochran House to make your season bright.
Jan 23/29/31: Ibison Guitar Duo
In Beerthoven’s first concert entirely focused on classical guitar, we’ll be covering a wide gamut including works by J.S. Bach, French composer Napoléon Coste, and the master of tango Astor Piazzolla. Featuring Grammy-nominated artists Chad Ibison and Janet Grohovac. There will be a special performance with a dance demonstration at Esquina Tango on January 23rd, plus two performances at Saengerrunde Halle January 29th and 31st (check out this link for their Esquina performance).
April 23/25: Paris in a Glass
In the old days of the French “Salon,” it was understood that music, conversation, intimate spaces, and a good pour go hand-in-hand. We’re bringing in Trio Balez for this program especially highlighting French romantic works, featuring local French pianist Jeanne Hourez as well as returning Beerthoven artists Ruben and Samantha Balboa (viola and voice).
