Beerthoven's annual tradition with Tinsel Singers is back this year with a twist--an entirely new songbook! Come and enjoy hot cocoa, cold beer, and warm pastries on the front lawn of the Neill-Cochran House to make your season bright.

Tinsel is not your average group of Christmas carolers. Within Tinsel's roster of professional singers are Grammy®-winners and classically-trained vocalists, entertaining audiences with style and distinction. From classical to contemporary, Tinsel arrangements of holiday favorites are bright and innovative, while respecting tradition and cherished memories.

While the live music is performed we will be serving hot cocoa as well as warm pastries and cold beer generously provided by Easy Tiger and Lazarus Brewing--at no additional cost! All attendees will also be allowed one free visit to the Neill-Cochran House Museum's exhibits (voucher to be used at a different time than that of the performance, as the performance takes place after museum hours). Dating back to 1856, the Neill-Cochran House is one of the ten oldest buildings in Austin. Its columned, Greek facade and rough, brick exterior is an historic and ideal setting for Beerthoven's mix of refinement and approachability.

Seating is limited in this scenario so, in the event that we are over capacity, we will reserve tickets for the first 60 guests who ordered tickets; all others will be offered a refund or, if available, an alternate performance date.

In Beerthoven's first concert entirely focused on classical guitar, we'll be covering a wide gamut including works by J.S. Bach, French composer Napoléon Coste, and the master of tango Astor Piazzolla. Featuring Grammy-nominated artists Chad Ibison and Janet Grohovac. This performance at Esquina Tango will also feature a live tango demonstration by two of Esquina's own fabulous instructors!

This performance will take place at Esquina Tango, an East Austin Latin cultural center. Since its founding in 2006 and the renovation of an old church into a dance studio in one of Austin's most diverse neighborhoods, Esquina Tango has provided the Austin community with over 5,000 classes and more than 240 cultural events and hopes to continue to positively change peoples’ lives through dance and culture.
